binder precision parts – your specialist for bronze turned parts
Bronze is an alloy of the metals copper and tin. The element tin increases the strength of bronze and makes the alloy much harder than copper, which is the main component of bronze with at least 60 percent.
Why should you choose CNC bronze turned parts?
Bronze has the highest corrosion resistance of all copper alloys and has excellent wear and fatigue resistance as well as very good sliding properties. However, the conductivity is somewhat lower than that of brass parts.
With bronze contacts, the stress relaxation at higher temperatures is less pronounced than with brass contacts. This means that a connector can operate at higher temperatures when using bronze contacts.
